This is a significant release compared to v2.6:
You can now hoist the sails from 0 to 100%; added “backing the sails”; added sail covers; stays that “creak” with high stress adds to the immersive effect; added (option) wind direction indicator to the bottom left of the screen; when using “wind shadows” your sails can “self” shadow downwind; current Situation is now saved automatically in a temp file so you can continue next time you run the program; added seagulls; you can turn on/off dolphins, fish and seagulls; added more cool structures/models; added engine smoke effect; you can now enter comments about the current Situation; added new “GAME race mode” – hit “G” and release all selected boats at the same time (you can race the robo-boats); added 4 Catamarans; you can change target marker when following a Route; you can change exact heading when in Autopilot; added new difficulty “Level” (use Shift-L to change to 1,2,3);
